World Largest Vertical Maze Illuminated With LED Lights

The Rostamani Maze Tower that been completed in 2011 is the first of its kind. It is the first multi functional building in the world, but also the world’s largest vertical maze, according to Guinness World Records.

The 56-floor skyscraper towers are 689 feet above the city with both residential and office floors. DAR Consult has brought in acclaimed maze designer Adrian Fisher to project the incredibly complex maze. And to highlight the finished product, thousands of LED lights were installed, accentuating the maze’s form.

Rebeca Sánchez, the light programmer who worked on the project, called it ‘”the biggest challenge”. Thousands of LED strips were placed along the front and rear façades, each completely unique. Throughout the evening, the lights dance and change color, giving rhythm to the fantastic architecture.
